CANTON, Conn., October 18, 2011 – Here’s an affordable, convenient and simple solution to eliminating dents on your car that drive you crazy – and the chance to support a worthwhile local charity at the same time. Many consumers simply choose to ignore dents, chips and scratches since auto body and auto paint shops are expensive and inconvenient, and insurance deductibles are costly. However, there’s another practical solution – DentfixExpress, LLC (formerly Body Parts, LLC), offers an economical, portable and efficient solution for removing dents, scratches and chips from vehicles. It’s a paintless repair service that is quick, convenient and affordable. It’s perfect for your own vehicles, and very practical for repairing rented or leased vehicles without incurring exorbitant costs.
DentfixExpress is holding its fifth-annual paintless dent-removal service drive to benefit Gifts for Canton, a non-profit group that provides holiday gifts and services to Canton families that need help. Fees are significantly reduced, with repairs starting at $50. To attend to as many vehicles as possible, the focus will be on smaller repairs, such as door dents. All proceeds go directly to Gifts for Canton. DentfixExpress has raised approximately $10,000 for this charity over the past four years. his year’s service drive will be held in the Canton Village Shopping Plaza on Route 44 in Canton, October 29th from 9:00 a.m to – 3:00 p.m.
Typically, all DentfixExpress repairs are done at each customer’s home, work site or other convenient location, and repairs usually are completed in less than an hour. These cosmetic repairs make cars more attractive while improving resale, trade-in or lease-return value. DentfixExpress also is planning to expand into a retail location in Canton late this year, and will be hiring and training technicians. Owner Steve Roberto is a life-long Canton resident, where he serves as a Town Selectman. Active in the community, he belongs to the Canton Chamber of Commerce, and the Canton Rotary.
Gifts for Canton has been helping Canton residents in need for more than 15 years, says Ann Gagnon, Chairperson of Canton Chamber of Commerce Outreach, and Gifts for Canton director. “This is about neighbors helping neighbors, whether it involves gifts at the holidays for residents of all ages, food, Dial-a-Ride vouchers, clothing or other items and support they may need during the year,” Gagnon says. “We collect gift items for children and adults, especially over the holidays, at more than 30 locations – lots of people in our small town need help, and many residents and businesses contribute generously to this effort, including Steve Roberto and DentfixExpress.” Monetary donations, Gagnon adds, can be sent year-round to Gifts for Canton, care of the Canton Chamber of Commerce.
